It was carob pods – rather than locusts grasshopper that sustained John the Baptist while he lived in the wilderness preparing the way for the Messiah. Ceratonia siliqua, commonly known as the carob tree (from Arabic خَرُّوبٌ kharrūb and Hebrew חרוב haruv), St. John's-bread, or locust bean or simply locust-tree, is a species of flowering evergreen shrub or tree in the pea family, Fabaceae. It is widely cultivated for its edible pods and used an ornamental tree or grown in large carob orchards. The ripe, dried pod is often ground into carob powder, which is used to replace cocoa-cacao powder.

Decent, but not my favorite flavor

Carobou bars are still miles ahead of any other cocoa-free, dairy-free bar I've tried, but I think the caramel corn isn't my favorite flavor. I'll probably stick to the mint and crunch in the future. Nothing wrong with it, just not my personal favorite. Quality, packing, and shipping are still all great!

Quick shipping, great packaging, arrived with an extra bar in a flavor my kiddo is going to love. So thankful for an organic, chocolate alternative. Thank you!

I Love This One

The caramel bar is really good! I went through my 3 caramel bars quite quickly and wasn’t rotating in other flavours as much as usual because I really craved the caramel!
